Holy crappers. Have I ever been MIA. Starting off the new school year with no internet for three weeks in my new apartment. Yikes. Anyways, now that I have internet back, the first thing I do: watch the season 3 premiere of Glee. Ya, I know. I don’t care.
Season 3 Glee premiere. So far, so good. Instead of bursting out into a million songs per episode (refer to Season 2), the premiere actually had some character plot and depth with some pretty decent song selection. I mean who doesn’t love the Tom Jones classic: it’s not unusual (aka. Carlton’s Song). And as most of you other glee fanatics know, Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson) premiered back on the season opener as one of the new editions to New Directions. We were so used to seeing Darren Criss in his Warblers get-up that it was a huge shock to see him in a normal wardrobe. Darren Criss hit it big with his wardrobe and goes all GQ on us as he joins McKinley High’s New Directions. Now, I know what most of you are thinking, that yes, he plays a gay teenager on glee and its expected that he’s going to dress all eccentrically and junk. On the contrary, I think Darren Criss hit it big with his new get-up on Glee. Refer to the following (but ignore the Carlton-esque dancing):
- The coloured/cropped chinos
- Black wingtip brogues – also sockless
- The skinny braided belt
- The fitted polo
However, I could care less for the bow-tie.
- The slim-fit gingham shirt
- Complimentary sweater vest
I know most of you will disagree with me on his wardrobe selection, but I’ve already accepted that. Or, my sexuality will simply just be questioned even more (also, already accepted). Regardless, I hope you enjoy the read and I hope to be back on here more often now. But I’ll just leave you with this:
